Tower Of Babel
Gods massive flood had worked to perfection. All the sinners had been wiped out, the animals were safe due to Noah's arc, and a new generation of humanity was just now beginning. And this new generation of humanity was even better than expected, they worked together, spoke the same language, and all lived together in a peaceful community. Then they decided to build the Tower of Babel or a stairway to heaven so they could be closer to God in an emotional and physical sense. This did not go over well upstairs. For some reason it just rubbed God the wrong way so he destroyed the people's precious tower, spread them all over the globe and confounded their languages just as icing on the cake. This brings up the question why God would take such wonderful progress and destroy it faster than the death star destroyed Alderaan in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. But who knows... maybe it will be explained in the second coming.
