Noah and the Flood

Mankind was no longer meeting God’s standards, so He decided to wipe them all out, except for one, Noah. God gave Noah specific instructions to build an ark for himself and his family members so they would be able to survive the flood. Noah was to also all living creatures, male and female, and all types of food to feed the animals and his family. Once on the ark, it rained for 40 days and 40 nights, and the earth was flooded for 150 days. The flood killed all living creatures not onboard. The ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat. It took the earth eight more months to dry out, and during that time Noah and his family waited in the ark. God invited Noah to come out of the ark, and Noah immediately built an altar and worshiped the Lord. The offerings pleased God and He promised to never again destroy all living creatures. Puppies are pretty high on my list of favorite animals, but I think my favorite animal might be flamingos. They just chill on one leg like its nothing. The world will end in fire, I don’t have much rational behind why I think it’s going to be fire other than fire is more fascinating than ice.
