Noah and the Flood

The people of Earth had become deceitful and fell out of favor with God. So God decided he would choose one man to repopulate the earth and create a settlement of more holy, good hearted people. The man he picked was Noah (even though Noah was an alcoholic but I guess when the world has gotten bad enough to where you're willing to wipe out everyone, you'll take what you can get). Anyway Noah was instructed to build an ark in which 2 of every animal in the world was to fit and repopulate the world with him. Noah set to work despite verbal abuse from his fellows who thought he was loopy. Then came the flood: for 40 days and 40 nights it rained, and for 150 days, the water remained. Finally when the ark touched down and everyone left, God put a rainbow in the sky, the first rainbow ever, as a sign that the earth would never be destroyed again....by water. My favorite animal is probably the rabbit. A little odd, out of any animal I choose a rodent, but they're just so adorable running around everywhere with their big ears, eating carrots and whatnot. Scampering away at the first inkling of trouble. I would want one but I think it would be mean having him locked up in a cage most of the day; they need to run wild in the meadows and do rabbit things.
