Pygmalion and Galatea

Pygmalion was a sculptor from the island of Cyprus. After witnessing Venus punish the Propoetides by turning them into prostitutes, he began a new project. He began sculpting Galatea, a woman made out of ivory. His chisel strokes gradually became softer and more precise, until he realized Galatea was "perfect." He began falling in love with her. He brought the statue gifts (glass beads, fine cloth, seashells, pretty flowers). Pygmalion prayed at the festival for Venus that he find a wife like his ivory statue. When he returned home and kissed the statue, it turned into a woman. Pygmalion married Galatea with Venus presiding over the rituals, which ensured them a long and happy marriage.

The character I would bring to life would be Jason Bourne. He is a bad ass, what more can I say. While he does have a few undesirable social skills, he can take pretty much anyone or any organization down.
