I have always been thoroughly fascinated with the manta-ray. They are especially cool because they don't need help from no damn Noah. Manta ray's are not generically beautiful. They are slithery and commonly mistaken for their venomous counterparts, stingrays, but there is something to their silent grace that has me fascinated. Manta rays are also known as devil rays due to their fiendish horns. Much like those of a giraffe, however, these horns are used only to.... do whatever kind and loving things a giraffe uses his horns for. I am particularly fascinated by the idea of a giant manta ray, which actually isn't even a myth. In 1977, a 20 foot wide manta ray was discovered, and of course, immediately slaughtered (as we humans do). That is insanely cool, and terrifying in the same way a megladon is terrifying.
