Pandora's Box

Pandora's Box closely mirrors the story of Adam and Eve. Epimetheus had been warned about Zeus' tricks just as Adam and Eve had been warned about eating off the tree, yet in both instances they both fell into temptation. Pandora was to never open the box she had been sent with, but the curiosity of its contents was too much. Pandora finally opened the box and instantly the room was filled with terrible spirits; she finally closed the box with hope still within the box. Pandora was faced with temptation and part of Epimetheus having her as his wife was to keep her away from the box. It is easy to avoid temptation with not faced directly with it, but not so much when having to stare directly at it.

Negativity. Unfortunately I have fallen into this evil's trap. I often find myself along side society looking at the negativity in everything. Corrections are generally given to what was wrong or what mistakes were made with an occasional positive comment. News is primarily negative because it is mostly murders or major economical declines. We tend to focus on our downfalls instead of what we did right.
