Genesis chapters 1-3 are well-known chapters from the Bible.
They describe the story of Adam and Eve.
God created Adam and Eve so they could live in and take care of the
Garden of Eden. In the beginning, Adam and Eve lived in the garden with
happiness and ignorance. However, God warns both Adam and Eve to avoid the tree
of knowledge of good and evil, but the serpent deceives Eve and convinces her
to eat the forbidden fruit. Eve shares the apple with Adam and God becomes
angered by their disobedience. God punishes Adam, Eve, and the serpent by
creating burdens in their lives, as well as the rest of the earth, for all of
time.
I think these chapters in the Bible are easy to relate to
because everyone has felt temptations before, and more of than not, we have acted
on our temptations. Now sometimes our actions go undetected and without
punishment, but usually we are punished for our temptations, just like Adam and
Eve.
