Villanelle

I really enjoyed Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night and its form of being a villanelle because it really utilizes the common theme of a villanelle needing a line to be repeated, as does in Dylan Thomas's poem. Especially because the common repeated phrase is a command, it works its way well into the poem and connects all of the other pieces together. Also, I really like this poem because of its meaning and its great use of diction to convey the meaning through its effective use of a villanelle. In the other poems, they're absolutely beautiful and well written, but they don't flow as well as Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night does, they seem a little more forced.
